Alcorn State University Braves
After a successful and intense camp and scrimmage, the Alcorn State University Braves are prepared to kick off their 2011 football season against Grambling State on September 3, 2011 in the Port City Classic. Season tickets will be made available in the Davey L. Whitney HPER Complex until August 31, 2011. Fans will also have the chance to pick up their 2011 Braves Football Poster.



Delta State University Statesmen 
Call it a dramatic kickoff to the 2011 season. The Delta State University Statesmen defeated the Elizabeth City State Vikings, 28-21 in an August 27th overtime game ending with a victory for the Statesmen. Fans can catch the next home game for the Statesmen on October 1st against Ouachita Baptist University at 6:00pm. Purchase Delta State University Statesmen tickets here.

Jackson State University Tigers
Come experience true Jackson State University Tiger tradition as the JSU Department of Athletics present the 12th annual Blue and White Spirit Rally on September 1st at 6pm. The event will be held at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The spirit rally is the first official pep rally of the season and will lead into the JSU football team's season opener against Concordia College. The world famous JSU marching band "the Sonic Boom of the South" and the cheerleaders will perform, as well as a spirit completion among the classes. Admission to the spirit rally is free of charge.

Mississippi State University Bulldogs
The Mississippi State Bulldogs Football team is coming off a season that saw their most wins (five) at home since 1999. This season is expected to be their best yet with a six-game home schedule highlighted by three preseason top-10 squads. The first home game for the Mississippi State Bulldogs is September 15th against LSU. It’s going to be a game to remember! Buy your tickets now!

Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field is a 96-year-old historic facility and the nation's second-oldest Division I-A campus football stadium. Over its lifetime the stadium has seen four major renovation and expansions. With 10 consecutive home games selling out during the 2011 game season, the stadium will see more than$100 million in projects over the next year. Of that $100 Million, $80 Million will be dedicated to the stadium expansion which will make room for 5,000 – 7,000 new seats!

Some of the latest additions to the stadium include the $1.4 million LED ribbon boards bringing fans in-game graphics, scores, stats and other information to provide the fans the best stadium experience. Another major addition is the $6.1 million true HD video boards measuring 152 feet wide, 135 feet tall with a main HD screen 111 feet wide by 47 feet tall and spanning the roof of the Leo Seal M-Club Centre in the south end zone. It is the largest true high definition board in the Southeastern Conference and the second largest nationally.  



Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils
The Delta Devils will kick off their 2011 football season with a home game against Alabama State on September 3rd at 5pm. Tickets will be available at various satellite ticket locations on and around campus prior to game day. Tickets may be purchased in advance through the MVSU Ticket office or by calling (662) 254-3313. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance of game day and arrive early for all home games. Instead of having to purchase a ticket for the game, a parking permit, a tailgating permit, the fan can purchase an all in one ticket. 



University of Mississippi
One the richest college football traditions in the South, the University of Mississippi formed the first football team in the state and continues to be on the most successful athletic programs in the history of collegiate football. Fans are invited to join University of Mississippi players, coaches, the Rebel spirit squads and band on Thursday, September 1st in The Grove. There will be games and prize giveaways leading up to the season debut of "RebTalk with Coach Houston Nutt" at 6:30 p.m. Beginning this season, the show, which is hosted by the "Voice of the Rebels" David Kellum and includes special guests, will broadcast Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on home weekends from the Grove Stage and on road weekends from Rooster's Blues House on the Oxford Square.Fans may send in their questions through the RebTalk Coach's Connection by visiting OleMissSports.com/rebtalk.

The Rebels open the 2011 season next Saturday in Vaught-Heming Stadium against the Cougars. Kickoff is set for 3:45 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN. Buy your tickets now! 



University of Southern Mississippi Eagles
Don’t miss Friday Night at the Fountain, the Southern Miss Pep Rally. A campus and community wide event, the Pep Rally takes place on Friday evenings before all home games in front of the Aubrey Keith Lucas Administration Building. It’s a must-see event with the Southern Miss cheerleaders, the Pride of Mississippi marching band, the Dixie Darlings and the Southern Misses.
