The Delta in
Mississippi is where more than 100 blues singers and musicians such
as Howlin' Wolf, Son House, Charlie Patton, Ma Rainey and Muddy
Waters got their start, inspiring the Rolling Stones, the Beatles,
and Eric Clapton. The blues traveler can learn about Mississippi
music at the blues museums in Clarksdale, Greenwood, Leland, and
the Dockery Plantation in Cleveland.
