Biloxi City Cemetery also known as "Old Biloxi Cemetery" is a rewarding experience if you love history. There are headstones dating back to the 1800's, and some very famous people are laid to rest here. George Ohr - The Mad Potter of Biloxi; Pleasant Reed - a common man who made a contribution to American history in spite of incredible odds; Lazaro Lopez - a seafood pioneer who became a city leader and philanthropist; and Brigadier General Joseph Robert Davis - nephew of Confederate President Jefferson Davis are just a few. Take a stroll and a journey back in time! The cemetery is located between Irish Hill Drive & Highway 90!
