Museum of the Mississippi Delta (formerly Cottonlandia Museum)

Cottonlandia - Museum of the Mississippi Delta is a dynamic museum about not only cotton and agricultural history in the Delta, but also about so much more. The Museum's gallery space highlights Mississippi artists with particular emphasis on artists of the Delta. This Mississippi artwork combines with history - local, military, and agricultural - along with an immense collection of Native American artifacts to create a museum that has something for everyone to enjoy. The Fossils, Feathers and Fur and the Swamp Room also lend an added visual and auditory intrigue to the museum for young and old. Artifacts to art are creatively applied to display the history and culture of the deep south Delta. Guided tours are available.
