Mathis Orchards

Mathis Orchard is a family owned and operated farm in East-Central Mississippi. Growing peaches has been a family tradition for four generations. Our great-grandfather was the first person to bring peach trees to this area. He brought 50-trees to experiment with. They produced so well and tasted so good peaches have been in the family for over 100 years. Our branch of the family has been growing peaches since the early 80's. We have almost 30-varieties on nearly 50-acres of land. This makes us the largest peach orchard in this area. They begin ripening in early May and last through early September. The soil and climate in this area are a perfect combination to deliver the sweetest, juiciest peaches grown anywhere in the southeast. They have also added strawberries.
This farm offers pick your own peaches and strawberries in clean picking areas. We have an artificial milk cow, animals to view, picnic tables, bounce, etc. For the pumpkin patch we accept groups or inidividuals. Call for times and prices. Strawberry U-Pick and tours begin April 1 and end mid-May. The pumpkin patch starts October 7th  and ends October 31st.
