A fine blend of home cookin' and rustic atmosphere. The eatery is located in what was once a private residence; it's not a big place, so it's almost impossible to not interact with the help or the clientele. Daily lunch specials include fried pork chops, BBQ chicken, hamburger steak and onions, fried chicken, a terrifically chunky chicken pot pie, and much more; choose from sides like butter beans, fried green tomatoes, turnip greens, string beans, mashed potatoes (with skins) bathed in pan gravy, etc.; entrees served with your choice of fresh baked rolls or cornbread. Home made desserts are just $1.25 with banana pudding, peach cobbler and fried apple pies being served 7 days a week. Wash it down with iced sweet tea, soft drink or fruit punch. Full salad bar & all you can eat catfish buffet on the weekends.
