Brookwood Byram Country Club is located only a short drive southwest of Jackson, but our secluded parklands-style setting makes the hectic pace of metro life seem far, far away. Since 1954, our lush rolling grounds and cozy clubhouse have been playing host to Jackson-area residents for weddings, celebrations, tournaments, and of course fun and relaxing rounds of golf.
From the back tees, Brookwood plays over 6,500 yards across mostly tree-lined fair ways and gently sloped terrain. Not much water comes into play at Brookwood, but when it does, it does so in dramatic style! Reminiscent of the famed “Island Green” at TCP Sawgrass, Brookwood Byram’s own version of the island green is our signature hole, the par-three 10th. Connected to the rest of the course by a long, small sliver of dry land, Brookwood #10 is essentially surrounded on all sides by water. Playing only approximately 120 yards, standing on the tee box nevertheless can make the most experienced of golfers hesitate.
