Rodney Presbyterian Church

During General U.S. Grant's campaign to capture Vicksburg, Rodney was heavily shelled by Union Naval Forces. Evidence still exists in a cannonball that remains embedded in the brick facade. A marker designates the skirmish site, now surrounded by the silence of a ghost town and
cemetery.
