St. John's United Methodist Church

St. John's United Methodist Church was built between 1886 and 1892 as First Baptist Church, and acquired in 1915 by the congregation of St. John's Methodist Church. A new cornerstone was installed that recognized the transfer of ownership to St. John's United Methodist Church. The Gothic Revival-style brick church is one of the oldest African-American church buildings in Natchez.
