Brick by Brick Memorial

Located in front of Historic City Hall on Goodyear Boulevard is the Brick by Brick Memorial.  Bricks are purchased in honor or in memory of loved ones who have served or currently serving in the military.  On three corners of the monument are the names of soldiers Killed in Action or Prisoners of War from World War I, World War II, The Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The Career Women’s Club and the Brick by Brick Committee sponsored the Memorial Monument.  A Monument stands in the middle of the brick memorial with the written words: “God Grants Freedom only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it” –
Freedom Is Not Free.
