Greene County Museum

c. 1939. Courthouse is a designated Mississippi Landmark. Converted jail houses artifacts on loan or donated to the Greene County Historical Society. Artifacts relate to the history of Greene County, including home, farm, schools and river rafting of logs. Pre-historic Indian artifacts include a 1300 year-old vase; arrowheads, pottery, projectile points unearth in an archeological dig conducted by the MS Dept. of Transportation. Living history demonstrations. Genealogy research resources.
