Joceyln’s, is a restaurant located on Highway 90 East in Ocean Springs.
Joceyln Mayfield’s life in the kitchen started as a young woman at the
very well known coast restaurant called Trilby’s working in the kitchen
for the Blossman Family. Over 25 years ago, she began her own
restaurant at her own location. They have a variety of coastal-style
soups like a delicious seafood gumbo and also oyster stew. You don’t
find quirky entrées on the menu like chicken liver shish kebob side by
side with broiled shrimp or eggplant with shrimp or crabmeat. True
Mississippi fare like fried chicken also takes its place of honor among
soft shell crabs and traditional side veggies. In her career, Jocelyn
has fed as many people in her restaurant as she has for free out of the
goodness of her heart.
