c. 1826. The Gov. McNutt house is the second oldest structure in the Historic Downtown District and listed in the National Register of Historic Places in addition to designations as Mississippi and Warren County historic landmarks. The main floor contains beautiful coal burning fireplaces, heirloom period furnishings and a variety of vintage and antique curios. Tours include the history of the house, former residents, our permanent resident Lt. David Weeks Magill and of course the “Little Girl in the Blue Dress made famous in a featured segment of “My Ghost Story”. The house is just 3 blocks from the Old Court House Museum and the new Lower Mississippi River Museum.
