Caroll County Market

Each Saturday night in the small town of Carrollton, there is a big noise happening on its quaint, courthouse Square.  The Carroll County Market, put together by Carrollton native Cecil Abels, aka “Mr. Sippy,” has quickly become a Delta fixture for its support of the community through the arts, delicious food and local music.  The pulled pork barbecue sandwiches are smoked with seasoned oak, pecan and hickory hardwoods and come with a side of Mr. Sippy’s homemade sauce.  Also on the menu are BBQ ribs flavored with a special rub as well as mouth-watering steaks.  Mr. Sippy also specializes in wood-fired pizzas using fresh sourdough crusts from Mockingbird Bakery in nearby Greenwood.  The pizzas are cooked to perfection and topped with fire-roasted fresh peppers, caramelized sweet onions with sautéed meat toppings and cheese.  Enjoy small town food and fun in a big way.
