Doris' Hot Tamales

The proud tradition of Mississippi hot tamales continues at Doris’ Hot Tamales, whose owner and namesake Doris Reno has been making and selling tamales since 1946.  Doris is originally from Sicily and nowadays her son, R.J., helps her run the successful business of offering fat parchment-wrapped beef tamales to their customers out of the walk-up window.
