Bob Ferguson Country Music Trail Marker

Bob Ferguson wrote "Wings of a Dove" which was recorded by many artists such as Ferlin Husky. He produced Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, Connie Smith and over fifty other recording artists. "Carroll County Accident" another No. 1 song and Country Music Association Sonf of the Year in 1969 as recorded by Porter Wagoner. Mr.Ferguson was the editor of Chata Anumpa (The Choctaw Times) from 1968-72 and lectured and produced videos documenting Mississippi Choctaw and Southeastern Indian life were lasting contributions to the culture.  His song "Choctaw Saturday Night" is a local favorite.
