Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway

Passing through Montgomery County are sections of Highways 51, 49, and 90 known as the Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway.  Designated in 1913, it runs from Davis's birthplace in Fairview, Kentucky to Davis's last home, Beauvoir, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
