Clegg's Café is on the corner of Highways 82 and 49 which makes it hard to miss. Clegg's opened in 1945, when Jessie Pernell started the "White Front Café" on Church Street. The café is affectionately known as “Chicken and Rice” by the locals because of its decadent chicken and rice plates.
