Bear Creek (voted in the top 100 float streams in the nation by Reserve America, designated a Mississippi Scenic Stream) is a stream that flows northward through beautiful scenery making a loop through the Appalachian foothills in Tishomingo State Park. Bear Creek displays rocky outcrops and provides the look and feel of mountain forest and slopes. Seasonal canoe float trip is offered with canoe rentals available by the Tishomingo State Park.

Located 12 miles north of Fulton, this natural, spring-fed lake attracts anglers from throughout the Southeast. Crappie, bream, bass and catfish all grow to potential record sizes in this stunning U.S. Army Corps of Engineer managed lake. A boat launch is located on the northeastern corner of the lake. Also, be sure to take the time to hike the nature trail located along the shoreline. This is a nature-lovers paradise!
