Perry Farms has 563 acres of private hunting land, and is conveniently located near several federal and state wildlife areas, such as Panther Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Lake George Wildlife Management Area, Sunflower Wildlife Management Area, and Delta National Forest.

Operated by the United States Forest Service, POW Lake Recreation Area is located within the De Soto National Forest. This camp once was used to house German & Italian prisoners during World War II and later used as a Navy rifle range, now only old ammunition bunkers and a few foundations remain. Camp sites are available on a first come first serve basis and unnumbered with a 7 day stay limit. There is a 7 acre lake and fishing is allowed. Note: All National Forest Campgrounds do not allow alcohol. Non-fee campground.
Prentiss Walker Lake is a 81 acre lake located in Smith County, 4 mi. SW of Mize off Hwy 35. For information about Prentiss Walker Lake, please call 601-733-2611 Camping Description 21 camping pads with electrical/water hookups. Two cabins available for rent with dump station onsite. Each cabin is a two-bedroom unit with one queen and one full size bed. Linens are not provided. Kitchens are stocked with basic cookware and dinnerware.
