Private Water Parks

The privately-owned water parks in Mississippi range from full-blown fantasy theme parks, like Geyser Falls Water Theme Park in Choctaw, Gulf Islands Water Park in Gulfport and Grand Paradise Waterpark in Collins, to back-to-nature water parks such as Pep's Point near Hattiesburg. Whichever park personality suits your personality, you are sure to have an unforgettable experience with your family and friends.

Public Water Parks

Mississippi is overflowing with great times to be had at a host of public water parks throughout the state. Primary concentrations of these parks may be found in the Pat Harrison Waterway District, Pearl River Basin Development District and the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District. In most cases, the parks are not only beautiful sites, but they offer water lovers boat ramps, canoeing opportunities, fishing, nature trails, picnic areas, camping and bath houses. The D'Lo Water Park, for example,  is in a marvelous natural setting with an oxbow lake and 74 completely wooded acres. Bogue Chitto Water Park also invites guests for camping on primitive or developed sites or to enjoy a stay in one of the cabins.

There's definitely something for everyone at Mississippi's public water parks. Set aside some time to visit and have some fun!
