THE HISTORY OF PIKE COUNTY WELCOME CENTER
The Pike County Welcome Center was the first Mississippi Welcome Center to open its doors to visitors on February 3, 1975. Ever since that day, visitors are always welcomed with a warm smile, helpful information about restaurants, lodging, events and attractions which can be enjoyed throughout Mississippi. Our center provides the traveling public with 26 picnic tables and 4 covered pavilions. During the summer months we see lots of visitors taking advantage of these picnic tables with family gatherings. Stop by and see us!
